Annette O'Toole spent her childhood in the Houston studio, which was managed by her mother. Annette O'Toole made her TV debut at the age of 2, as a kid on The Don Mahoney Kiddie Trooper Show. Her mother and she with ten years worth of dancing and singing lessons under her belt, went into Los Angeles an entire year around thirteen to find out whether she could be able to earn a living on the showbiz. Within two months she secured her first paying job dancing in the Danny Kaye Show with Danny Kaye. "I've used my singing and dancing training in many different ways," she says. The discipline gained from these classes is invaluable for an actor." O'Toole's first role with My Three Sons was followed by appearances in Gunsmoke as well as The Mod Squad. She also appeared in Hawaii Five-O, The Mod Squad, The Partridge Family. Her greatest passion, despite her film and television success is theater. When her six-year run on Smallville ended, she decided to pursue theater as her primary focus, and has done so for the last ten years. First auditions at New York led her to be chosen to play The Sea Gull. She has appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway plays, including Adam Rapp's Kindness, and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
